Job Description:

Honeywell is seeking a highly motivated Software Engineer I to join our dynamic engineering team. In this role, you will be involved in designing, developing, testing, and deploying high‑quality software solutions for Honeywell’s innovative products and platforms. You will work with modern technologies such as Java, Spring Boot, Hibernate, Angular, SQL, along with cloud services on Azure/AWS, contributing toward scalable and secure enterprise applications.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • Strong programming skills in Java.
  • Hands-on experience with Spring Boot, Hibernate/JPA.
  • Front-end development experience with Angular (HTML, CSS, TypeScript).
  • Proficiency in SQL and relational database concepts.
  • Basic understanding of cloud platforms (Azure or AWS).
  • Knowledge of REST API design and microservices architecture.
  • Strong debugging, analytical, and problem‑solving skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in an agile environment.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain backend services using Java, Spring Boot, and Hibernate.
  • Build responsive and user-friendly UI components using Angular.
  • Develop RESTful APIs and integrate with internal and external systems.
  • Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to define, design, and deliver high‑quality features.
  • Perform unit testing, integration testing, and participate in code reviews to ensure code quality.
  • Work with relational databases (SQL) to design schemas, write queries, and optimize performance.

  • Troubleshoot production issues and provide timely resolutions.
