Knowledge & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or equivalent with strong academic backgrounds
• 2+ years of experience in Java software development design, and Tech Lead ure.
• 2+ years of experience in Tech Lead ure role
• Deep understanding in software Tech Lead ure, robust/scalable/high-performance SaaS
• Good development methodologies, design patterns, coding, and best practices.
• Discover and develop new technologies and lead Tech Lead ure solutions design
• Produce quality products on time to meet our business goals and deliver high-quality, secure, stable, and high-performance product
• Background in Cloud (AWS), microservices Tech Lead ure & large-scale environments.
• Familiar with microservices and CI/CD.
• Strong skills in Java, Spring, JPA, and Databases (MySQL/MongoDB)
• Deployment of scalable web systems with Tech Lead ural requirements for high availability, high throughput, low response time, etc.
• Experience with Maven, Test Driven Development (TDD) and Continuous Integration (CI), JUnit
• Understanding of secure application development best practices
• Familiar with Agile/Scrum Software Development practices.
• Strong analytical skills, strong verbal and written communications skills in English & Hebrew, and great attention to detail are required.

Experience in any of the following would also be advantageous:

• Hands-on experience with tools like Jira, Jenkins, Git, Confluence, Artifactory, etc. is a plus
• Familiarity with containerized solutions based on Docker, Kubernetes
• Familiarity with event-driven technologies such as Kafka, Webhooks etc.
• Familiarity with Web/API security, JWT, PKI and AuthN/Z flows
• Familiarity with Linux or UNIX operating systems is a plus
• Experience with front-end web development with JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3, SASS, Angular is a plus

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Analyze the feature requirements and build solid SW design to address them
• Break down the feature into measurable development packages and tasks
• Perform design and code review 
• Translate application storyboards and use cases into functional applications
• Design, implement, unit test and deploy new web-based applications and web services using server technologies stacks that include Java, SQL / NOSQL and AWS services.
• Execute end-to-end software development and deployment in an agile environment that greatly values CI/CD
• Enhances existing components with new capabilities whilst maintaining compatibility.
• Guide and educate our Engineering teams by setting technical directions while providing standards, Tech Lead ural governance, design patterns, and practices
• Active in a continuous improvement of the existing process, methodologies, technologies, and practices
• Effectively working with team members across multiple geographies
• Coach mentor and develop junior team members
• Software development based on high-level requirements: estimating, developing, code review.
