TCS Manager forced innocent girl employee to work till midnight for promotion
It is being found that multiple tcs employees are made to work for 12+ hours a day and even after that tcs is not giving them proper appraisal , promotions and not even giving them their announced hike
Multiple employees from the company have started lashing out in public tcs forums regarding this problem faced by them . One of the employee said –
“This confession is for my last project.
When I started working in that project then timings were 1 PM to 10:30 PM. Later on, My lead scheduled daily standup call at 12:30 PM and then after few months it was rescheduled at 12:00 Noon. It was mandatory for us to join that stand up call even when due to work load we were logging off daily after 11 PM.
Apart from above, we used to work on some of the weekends as well to meet timelines of deliverables.
Now when time arrived for Appraisal then I got band lower than my expectation. I rejected that band and in the discussion I found that management is very happy with my work and dedication but the extra efforts like account level activity and automation savings are missing so that’s why they can’t upgrade my band.
I thinked about those lines for several days as how someone supposed to give 11 hours daily for a project and then remaining time to do some account level activities and automation Savings. Why my efforts for project are not capable to compensate the lack of account level activity and automation savings.”
Many other TCS employees then suggested this employee to not work so hard for the company where rewards are not given
