RBI Grade B Officer 2021 Recruitment: Reserve bank of India is the central banking institution whose function is to control the monetary policy of Indian currency Rupee. RBI was established on 1^st April 1935 under the RBI act 1934 on the recommendation of John Hilton Young Commission. Originally it’s headquarter was in Kolkata but transfer to Mumbai in 1937. It plays an important role in strategy formation in the government of India. It is a member of the Asian Clearing Union.

Officers in Grade ‘B’ (DR) – (General):

Graduation in any discipline /Equivalent technical or professional qualification with minimum 60% marks (50% for SC/ST/PwBD applicants) or Post-Graduation / Equivalent technical qualification with minimum 55% marks (pass marks for SC/ST/PwBD applicants) in aggregate of all semesters / years.

Officers in Grade ‘B’ (DR) – DEPR :

• Master’s Degree in Economics / Econometrics / Quantitative Economics / Mathematical Economics / Integrated Economics Course/ Finance OR PGDM/ MBA Finance
• Minimum of 55% marks or an equivalent grade in aggregate of all semesters /years from a recognised Indian or Foreign University /Institute

Officers in Grade ‘B’ (DR) – DSIM:

• A Master’s Degree in Statistics/ Mathematical Statistics/ Mathematical Economics/ Econometrics/ Statistics & Informatics from IIT-Kharagpur/ Applied Statistics & Informatics from IIT-Bombay
• Minimum of 55% marks or equivalent grade in aggregate of all semesters / years;

RBI Grade B Age Limit (as on 01.01.2021): The age limit for grade b officers in RBI is between 21 to 30 years

RBI Grade B Selection Process 2021:

RBI Grade B officer selection process consists of pre and main exams. The candidates need to clear pre-exam to qualify for the main exam.

Exam Pattern For RBI Prelims (Phase 1 Exam):

The phase 1 exam pattern for RBI prelim exam consists of objective type of questions which needs to be solved in 120 minutes for 200 marks.

Exam Pattern For RBI Mains (Phase 2 Exam):

Candidates qualified in phase 1 exam will be allowed to write the mains exam. The phase 2 exam pattern for RBI Grade B officers consists of objective type and subjective of questions which needs to be solved in 120 minutes for 200 marks.

Merit List 2021: Final selection will be on the basis of candidate’s performance in the online main examination (Paper-I +Paper-II +Paper-III)) plus interview marks together in order of merit.
