Qualifications for Qualys Recruitment:
- Must have solid working knowledge of the Linux Operating System and Docker Containers.
- System administration/IT skills for Linux (CentOS).
- Must have experience with the software development life cycle.
- Scripting/automation knowledge Unix shell scripts with recent scripting experience.
- Must have experience with OS level Network configuration and trouble-shooting.
- Experience with HTTP/HTTPS protocols,JSON, XML and Relational databases like sqlite.
- Must be critical thinker with excellent verbal and written skills.
Additional Plus Competencies:
- TCP/IP and network knowledge and troubleshooting and knowledge of packet sniffers

Job Description:
- The qualified candidate will have solid knowledge of Kubernetes and docker container setup, Linux Operating System including Network configuration and setup, functional and performance testing at both the OS and Application layers.
- The responsibilities include designing and developing automation framework for system level security analysis of applications running in CentOS, RHEL and other flavors of Linux in addition to OSX.
- Test validation should address all areas of the appliance functionality including feature, performance, regression and capacity evaluations in all environments and networking configurations.
- Experience with virtualization (Amazon EC2, Windows Azure, OpenStack) and lightweight virtualization solutions (Linux Container, QEMU) is required.
- In addition to Kubernetes, experience with docker swarm and MESOS is strong plus.
- The candidate must have ability to write detailed proposal for automation including test plans, develop comprehensive test cases and be able to set and meet delivery schedules and deadlines.
- Additionally they must have the ability to reproduce and isolate faults, and perform root cause investigation for bug analysis in complex configurations.
