Job Description:
Nutanix is currently hiring for the following 4 roles. Respective detailed job descriptions enclosed below:
- Systems programming
- Backend Development
- Fullstack development
- Frontend / UI Development
1. Systems programming:
Must have Skills:
- Strong Distributed Systems development and architecting skills.
- C++/ Python/ GoLang
- Entrepreneurial spirit – ability to start, execute, finish and own the feature while maintaining a high-quality bar
Nice to have Skills:
- Design trade-offs in building clustered, high- performance, fault-tolerant distributed systems software.
- Experience in building and shipping production-grade services.
2. Backend Development:
Working on the backend of a highly scalable and performant distributed control plane. Develop a deep understanding of complex distributed systems, and design innovative solutions for customer requirements.
Must have Skills:
- Love of programming with rock-solid understanding of Java and experience in developing applications, ideally for enterprise-quality software.
- Familiarity with OS internals, concepts of distributed data management, and design
Nice to have Skills:
- Experience in working with Springboot, hibernate, MVC frameworks
- Experience working with virtualization technologies like VMware, Hyper-V, KVM or Xen.
- Familiarity with x86 architecture, virtualization and/or storage management
3. Fullstack development:
Design and lead the development of Identity and Access management APIs for Cloud applications. You’ll be responsible for building rapid prototypes and working on dynamic projects. Research, design, develop, and validate security technologies.
Must have Skills:
- Strong hands-on experience in frontend using JavaScript (any framework), HTML, CSS and back-end in Node.js, GO, Python, Java.
Nice to have Skills:
- Fullstack software development experience
- Exp in REST API development with JSON-based payloads
4. Frontend/UI Development:
Working closely with the UX and visual design team to build a highly engaging UI that predicts and exceeds user expectations. Working closely with the product management team to understand user needs. Participating in process definition and technology selection to ensure appropriate testing of UIs.
Must have Skills:
- Finely tuned critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Experience in designing and implementing exceptional user interfaces in HTML5, Javascript and CSS
- Experience in SPA and frameworks like ReactJS/BackboneJS/Angular JS
Nice to have Skills:
- Experience in developing enterprise web applications
- understanding and experience in integrating with rest api and json
Note on compensation:
- Enclosed below are the components of CTC. The same would be higher for experienced candidates
- Base salary of ₹ 20 lakhs
- Stocks worth ₹ 20 lakhs (Vesting period : 4 years)
