Job Summary of L Brands Jobs For Freshers:

Web presentation-layer (“UI”) specialist developer who bridges the creative and technical aspects of website creation and delivery. Responsible for all aspects of Presentation Layer development including HTML markup, CSS/SCSS styling, Javascript functionality and unit testing.

Qualifications:

• 0-1 year of practical front-end web development experience in writing and testing valid, web standards-based HTML, CSS, JS
• Understanding of basics of computer science such as: Object Oriented Programming, Data Structures, Development Patterns
• Some experience in front end development with both technical and visual expertise
• Curiosity about and a desire to learn Web development best practices
• Some exposure to agile methodologies and supporting practices, tools, and technology
• Desire to learn automated testing, continuous integration & deployment, and supporting tools and technology
• Knowledge of WCAG 2.0 AA is a plus
• Driven to deliver a world-class customer experience
• Have and maintain a growth mindset for yourself, your peers, and your team

• Ability to collaborate effectively with teams located in different locations

• Under the guidance of more senior developers work with creative and business partners to understand, build and adjust web application functionality and visual presentation to support business goals
• Develop re-usable, maintainable, accessible cross-platform HTML, CSS, and JavaScript for front end web application components while adhering to web and team standards
• Working in an AT/CI/CD paradigm, develops with testing in mind; authors unit tests to provide sufficient testing coverage for each developed component
• Identifies opportunities to optimize and improve front end performance
• Ensure accuracy and attention to detail throughout the development process 
• Remain curious and current with new developments in front end web development industry
