IBPS Clerk Recruitment 2023: The Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) is inviting online applications for 4045 vacancies for the Clerk CRP-XIII Posts. Candidates with any degree qualification and age between 20 and 28 years are eligible to apply. The selection process will consist of two stages: Preliminary Examination and Main Examination. The Preliminary Examination will be held on August 26, 27, and 2 September 2023. The Main Examination will be held on October 7, 2023. Educational Qualification for IBPS Clerk Recruitment:
- A Degree (Graduation) in any discipline from a University recognised by the Govt. Of India or any equivalent qualification recognised as such by the Central Government.
- Computer Literacy: Operating and working knowledge in computer systems is mandatory, i.e. candidates should have a Certificate/Diploma/Degree in computer operations/Language/ should have studied Computer / Information Technology as one of the subjects in the High School/College/Institute.
- Proficiency in the Official Language of the State/UT (candidates should know how to read/ write and speak the Official Language of the State/UT) for which vacancies a candidate wishes to apply is preferable.
Age Limit (as on 01 July 2023): 20 to 28 years
Age Relaxation for IBPS Clerk Recruitment:
- 5 Years for SC/ST
- 3 Years for OBC
- 10 Years for PWD category
- Ex-Servicemen / Disabled Ex-Servicemen -actual period of service rendered in the defence forces + 3 years (8 years for Disabled Ex-Servicemen belonging to SC/ST) subject to a maximum limit of 50 years
- Widows, divorced women and women legally separated from their husbands who have not remarried- Age concession upto the age of 35 years for General/EWS, 38 years for OBC and 40 years for SC/ST candidates
- Persons affected by 1984 riots – 5 years

IBPS Clerk Recruitment 2023 Selection Process:
- IBPS Clerk Recruitment selection process is based on Preliminary Examination, Main Examination.
- Candidates who cleared cut-off marks of the Preliminary Examination called for Mains Examination.
- The Final Merit List is based on Main Examination Only.
Preliminary Examination: 100 questions for 100 marks for 60 Minutes.

- Candidates have to qualify in each of the three tests by securing cut-off marks to be decided by IBPS.
- Adequate number of candidates in each category as decided by IBPS depending upon requirements will be shortlisted for Online Main examination..
Main Examination: 190 Questions for 200 marks for 160 Minutes
At the time of Main Exam: Candidates must bring duly authenticated Online Preliminary Exam call letter (with authenticated copy of ID proof) as well as Main Exam call letter. These documents along-with other requisite documents must be submitted during the Main Exam.

Penalty for Wrong Answers (Applicable to both – Preliminary & Main Examination)
- There will be a penalty for wrong answers marked in the Objective Tests.
- For each question for which a wrong answer has been given by the candidate one fourth or 0.25 of the marks assigned to that question will be deducted as penalty to arrive at corrected score.
- If a question is left blank, i.e. no answer is marked by the candidate, there will be no penalty for that question.
