Qualification:
- MS in Computer Science, strong knowledge of machine learning, and 5+ years of relevant experience in the industry and/or academia OR PhD in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related quantitative field and strong knowledge of machine learning.
- 2 +/- years of experience using a mainstream programming language (C++, Java, Python, or similar).
- 2 +/- years of experience using object-oriented programming, data structures and algorithms, and software system design.
- 2 +/- years of experience using a broad set of supervised and unsupervised ML approaches and techniques ranging from Regression to Deep Neural Networks.
- Proven track record of successfully applying ML-based solutions to complex problems in business, science, or engineering.

Machine Learning Apps Engineer at Qualcomm
Location: Bengaluru
Qualification:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.
- Experience executing, analyzing, and optimizing neural networks in TensorFlow, Caffe2, PyTorch or similar frameworks
- Background and understanding of neural network operators and mathematical operations: linear algebra, math libraries, desirable
- Experience with industry standard and emerging ML benchmark suites such as MLPerf desirable
- Experience / understanding of machine learning execution engines such as Glow, ONNX Runtime, or similar a plus
- Experience with machine learning accelerators and related software a plus
- Strong skills in analyzing performance of software/hardware solutions on multi-core architectures; understanding of multi-core architecture fundamentals (core, cache, memory, bus, PCIe, etc)
- Target specific code generation and optimization using LLVM or GCC compiler
- Performance analysis, tuning, and debug using Linux-based profiling tools: perf events, hot-spots, call stacks, Ftrace
- Use of simulators, emulators, JTAG and serial debuggers, a plus
- Strong development skills in C++ and Python
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) and team player
- Exposure on Automotive product development is a plus

Qualification:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer engineering or related technical discipline
- Overall 10 to 15 years of programming experience with at least one modern language such as Scala, Java, Python, Go, C++, or C# including object-oriented design

- Overall 8-14 years of working experience with preferably 5 years in single domain at senior levels.

- Ability to perform statistical modelling (predictive, regression, hypotheses testing, multivariate analysis, Time Series, Cluster, forecasting, ARIMA) using R/ Python.
