Eligibility for HCL Careers for Freshers 2019:

• 2020 Graduates – B.E/ B.TECH (CSE, IT & Circuit Branches) Only with 85% throughout in academics(10th, 12th & UG)
• Please share us the list of available candidate’s detail (in attached Tracker) & we will shortlist based on our requirement.
• CTC decided by the HR would be sacrosanct. No negotiation on the CTC would be entertained.

Please Note :

1. The probation period for selected GET will be of 18 Months.
2. Also will have a service agreement of 24 Months, If the student leaves before this duration he/she is required to pay 1.25 lacs INR.

Compensation: UG(B.E/ B.TECH) – INR 3.50 LPA (GET)

1. Graduate Engineer Trainee

• Implementation of Six sigma projects
• Working on Network Device / Unix Server / Storage Devices (depending upon your respective domain)
• Ensuring Data center uptime according to SLAs
• Implementing New technologies and Design changes
• Applying patches/upgrades to maintain security level
• Responsible for building and maintaining Test environment
• Independent troubleshooting within SLA
• Manage Customer escalations
• Identify avenue for value adds and present value add summary
• Troubleshooting technical issues related to Network/Server/Storage devices
• Handling tickets/Requests
• Update the knowledge base
• Technically upgrade across versions of environment when required
• Participation in Monthly steering committee meetings (as required)
• Participate in monthly QA audits

Interpersonal skills:

• Time management skills, flexible and adaptable.
• Self-confidence & Positive attitude.
• Good communication skills
• Ability to work in a culturally diverse environment and get along fairly well with people from different nationalities is also a plus.
• Problem Solving and Decision-Making – Working with others to identify, define and solve problems, which includes making decisions about the best course of action.
• Team Player: As most of the jobs involve working in one or more work groups, you should have the ability to work with others in professional manner to achieve a common goal

2. Java/ Node.js Developer

Java or Node.js or REACTDeveloper role would involve coding against an application. To understand business requirement and implement business logics accordingly. Need to provide efficient technical solution to fulfil the requirement. Developer will be responsible for coding or developing against a requirement.

Core Competencies:

• Exposure to one or more of programming environments – Java, Node.js, JEE, Java Script, Jquery, Spring MVC, REST, Angular JS, Node JS, ReactJS.
• Object Oriented concepts with good Programming and Analytical skills
• Exposure to IDE tools like Eclipse
• Basic knowledge of cloud concepts and cloud technologies
• Fast at picking up new technologies
• Good Knowledge of Data Structures and Algorithms.
• Participate in research activities
• Self-motivated and a team player
• Understanding of DB Design, SQL Queries, PLSQL
• Excellent Communication Skills

3. OOPS

• Candidates should be excellent in Coding and should have interested to pursue career in it.
• Excellent skills and interest in objective C OR object oriented c++ or core java or C# .net,asp.net or python or perl or scripting platforms. Candidate should be very interested in coding/scripting.
• All of the above are college syllabus only.
• Knowledge and awareness of virtualization and cloud. Hands on with these technologies will be an added advantage. Self-learning in projects/labs would be added advantage.
• Knowledge in or College projects in AI, NLP, puppet, chef, ansible would be an added advantage.
• Candidates should be hands on with basic OS like win7/win8/win10. Should have understanding of OS task manager/process/services, firewall, CPU, memory, control panel, security settings.
• Should have hands on working with vmware workstation or oracle virtual-box.
• Candidate should be interested in automation and enthusiastic to know new and upcoming technologies in the market. Knowledge of SDDC is an added advantage.
• Knowledge/hands-on with AWS, azure will be added advantage.
• Candidate should have the zeal to explore new tools/technologies and keep themselves upgraded in accordance with market trends.

4. CyberSecurity

• Work on next-generation technologies in the area of Infrastructure & Cloud Security
• Participate in customer discussion on technologies with existing and new customers and deliver service capability presentations
• Contribute to developing technical project plans, activity list for Infra and cloud security technologies
• Develop a knowledge base, re-usable components for Practice.
• Execute project /Implement technology as per project plan
• Work on the POC of niche technologies
• Work with the Product Management team to develop new preposition and offering
• Contribute to creating complete life cycle documentation new products and offerings

Skills Needed:

• Basic knowledge of infrastructure security components like Firewall, AV etc.
• Basic Knowledge on networking and operating system
• Basic knowledge on Cloud offerings (IAAS, PAAS, SAAS)
• Knowledge on python scripting, investigation/audit tools (port scan tools, windows utilities, Linus/Unix utilities) is desirable
• Proficient in MS-Office suite (Excel, PPT, Doc).
• MS-Office (Mandatory)
• Project Management Tool (Microsoft Project) – preferred
• Linux/Unix/Windows – Preferred
• Python/Shell scripting – Preferred COMPTIA Security +
