Ministry of Home Affairs released a press release on 05th April 2023 announcing 129929 Constable (General Duty) vacancies to be recruited in General Duty Cadre in the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF). The Level 3 Constable posts will be filled in Central Reserve Police Force through direct recruitment. As per the press release issued, there will be a total of 129929 posts will be recruited out of which 125262 posts are for male candidates and 4467 are for female candidates. Out of the total vacancies, 10% shall be reserved for Ex-Agniveers.

- The candidates have to qualify Physical Efficiency Test, Medical Examination and written examination to get selected for Constable (General Duty) posts.
- The Physical and Medical Standards for recruitment to the post of Constable (General Duty) in the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) shall be applicable as per the Scheme prescribed by the Central Government.
- Ex-Agniveers shall be exempted from Physical Efficiency Test (PET).
