Cognizant Manager Fired Innocent Employee Because She Took Leaves for Some Days After Being on Bench
It was recently reported that an innocent cognizant employee was fired because she was on the bench and took leaves for some days.
The post on public facebook forum says,
Hi, So I am a cognizant emp and I was given Job Abandonment a few days back.

So what happened was since there is WFH and I was on the bench. I simply went home for 2 weeks and during that time someone from HR might have tried to reach me. But since I was on untold leave they tried to reach me on my company laptop teams which unfortunately I didn’t open. So now they are saying that JA is raised and I need to mention the same in there.
In previous mail, I had basically blamed them as I had not gotten any mail to join the call regarding any work. But now they are saying that I need to write another mail saying the issue is from my side, and only then they will give me a warning letter if not then they will go ahead with the termination.
Can I resign now since I was already given JA now? Or do I write them the truth and wait for warning letter?
