Before applying for the Syntel Recruitment Process, the aspirants should make sure they clear all the Syntel Eligibility Criteria. Syntel Careers have mentioned the following as a criterion for a candidate must clear before applying for Syntel Recruitment Process:

Graduation Criteria:

  1. B.E/B.Tech, MCA are eligible for Syntel Recruitment Process.
  2. A minimum of 55% in Graduation.
  3. No pending backlogs are allowed.
  4. A maximum of a 1-year break in education is allowed.

Academic Criteria:

  1. A minimum of 55% marks in 10th, 12th, Diploma.
  2. A maximum of a 1-year break in education is allowed.

Syntel Recruitment Process:

Syntel Careers have updated the Syntel Recruitment Process for Freshers. Candidates are expected to prepare for all the Stages of Syntel Placement Process in order to successfully get placed there.

The Syntel Recruitment Process consists of the following Rounds, click on each round for more details about them.

Online Aptitude Test:

  • The Syntel Online test is the first stage of Syntel Recruitment Process. This round, as the name suggests will assess the basic aptitude of candidates. This test decided whether the candidate will go for the next stages of Syntel Recruitment, i.e Technical and HR Interview Rounds.

Group Discussion:

The student who clears the previous rounds is called for a GD or JAM. This round is mainly to check your communication and presentation skills. Syntel will offer a case study of any problem faced by the organization or any topic of global/national importance.

Before appearing in a Group Discussion, make sure you are well aware of the rules to follow in a typical GD.

Be clear and fluent. Understand the objectives before speaking. Give chance to everyone and wait for your turn. As soon as another candidate is finished, put your points.

Technical Interview:

  • This round is for candidates who clear the Online Aptitude Round. The candidate can expect questions on any from their subject of study. Good subject knowledge is required to clear this round. A candidate should have the knowledge of Data structures, algorithms, DBMS, Operating System, Networking, OOPs concepts and a programming language of ones choice. This round is essential as the candidate’s Technical Knowledge is tested which is an essential stage of Syntel Recruitment Process.

Candidates from branches other than CS should prepare for subjects related to their branch. CS candidates will be tested on coding during the interview. The panel will also be asking questions from the resume, so one should be well prepared with what they have written in their CV. Questions related to puzzles are also asked in this round.

HR Interview:

  • For this round, there is no specific pattern, a candidate will have to answer questions based on his/her personal choice, there are no right answers or wrong answers, and it is basically to test ones personality.

  • Your SSC Mark sheet is required to be produced whenever asked during the Syntel Selection Procedure. Always keep both soft and hard copies with you.
  • Your HSC/Diploma Mark Sheets required to be produced whenever asked during the Syntel Recruitment Procedure. Always keep both soft and hard copies with you.
  • Graduation & Post Graduation all years mark sheets.
  • Any Photo ID proof (Pan Card/ Passport / Driving License / College ID) issued by the Central/State Government of India of the candidate.
  • Latest Passport sized photograph of the candidate
  • Updated Resume of the candidate

Syntel Recruitment Process Policies:

  • Candidates who have attended Syntel recruitment or interview before 6 months can’t apply.
  • A candidate who has failed in 10+2 and later joined Diploma are not eligible in Syntel Campus Selection Process
  • Only individuals of Indian origin/individuals having a valid Indian passport are eligible
